David James Syverson, 73, of Taylor passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Gundersen-Lutheran Health System, La Crosse.

David was born January 1, 1943, in Whitehall, WI, to James S. Syverson and Marion G. (Knudtson) Syverson-Berg. David lived in the Blair and Taylor area most of his life. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, going to auctions and garage sales, fishing, and helping out others.
David is survived by his 9 children, Tami, Michael, Daniel (Dana), Christina (Chad), Dana (Becca), Cathryn, Paul, James (Kimberly), and Teri (Zach); 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Heath and Susan McDaniels; brother, Paul L. Syverson; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Arrah Christine Syverson.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at the Taylor Lutheran Church in Taylor. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 30th from 4 p.m.
