Located in downtown North Bend, we see the North Bend Hotel in this photograph from 1910. One of the largest hotels in the area, the North Bend Hotel for many years was a popular destination for visitors to the area.

Enjoying their walk in southwestern Brockway, these two ladies enjoy a quiet moment near Perry Creek. Perry Creek was once home to several of the forty sawmills scattered through Jackson County.

  	The Polley's were one of the wealthiest families in the area during the early 20th century. Here we see the Polley Mansion located in the village of Melrose, one of the largest buildings in the county at the time.

Here we see several of the dancers during the annual pow-wow. Pictured are some of the leaders of the Ho-Chunk tribe.

The Sechlerville Starch Factory was located in the central part of the township. This factory, though no longer in use, was once a booming industry in the Hixton area.

They say necessity is the mother of all invention, and this photograph of a farmer in Manchester proves that. With a horse and a cow pulling his farm wagon, the farmer in the village of Shamrock knows how to get the most out of his animals.
