Ursula McLaughlin, 93, of Plymouth, and formerly of Tomah, passed into eternal life on Thursday, November 27, 2014.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 1, 2014, 1:00  P.M. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, 525 Superior Ave. Tomah.  Pastor Donald Buch will officiate.  Burial will be at the Oak Grove Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited call at the church on Monday from 11:00 P.M. until the time of the service. Mary P. Hoffmeyer, age 75, of Black River Falls, WI died unexpectedly at her home, in the Town of Brockway in Jackson County. Mary was born in Chicago, Il on January 25, 1939 to Luke F. and Mary J. (Dyra) Howe. She was raised in Chicago and attended the University of Chicago.On November 6, 1970, she married Lynn H. Hoffmeyer at St. Bartholamew's Church on Addison St. in Chicago. Following Mary's retirement, the couple moved to Jackson County.Mary was an office manager at Caraher Industries, and Financial Advisors Cigna and Lincoln Financial.Mary enjoyed reading fictional biographies and history, and nature watching. She volunteered and supported Democratic candidates at all levels of government.Surviving Mary are her husband, Lynn H. Hoffmeyer, her beloved daughter, Theresa (Josh) Buysse, Minneapolis, MN, her sister, Kathleen Howe, Minneapolis, MN, and her cats, Cocoa and Barry.She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Eileen.In accordance with Mary's wishes, there will be no funeral or visitation.The family prefers no flowers, and memorials may be given to the Jackson County Animal Shelter.Torgerson's Funeral Home, (715-284-4321) 408 N. Maxine Adell Vieth, age 85, of Norwalk, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 at the Morrow Home in Sparta, Wisconsin.      The family would like to thank the Morrow Memorial Home and staff for the excellent care provided for Maxine, within the last 10 months.  Funeral and committal services will follow at a later date in the spring of 2015 at the Salem United Methodist Church and Wanderer’s Rest Cemetery both in Norwalk, WI.  The Torkelson Funeral Home of Norwalk is assisting the family with arrangements.
