Darlene Audrey Hansen, , 72, of Humbird, lost her battle with breast cancer on Thursday, January 26, 2017.

She died peacefully at home with her husband at her side.

Darlene was born July 10, 1944, in Milwaukee. For 49 years she was married to her soulmate Dan Myron Hansen. It was Darlene's greatest wish to survive to this milestone with her husband.

Darlene was an active member of The Order of the Eastern Star for many years. She volunteered and participated in the Diabetic Support Group in Black River Falls, and gave many hours in her life to helping others. Darlene worked tirelessly on her family genealogy to seek her siblings and has hosted annual reunions for years to nurture this bond.

Dan and Darlene owned and operated Dan's Grocery in Humbird for nearly 30 years. She knew every customer personally and their families by name. She enjoyed her place in the community.

Robert W. Bolton, 95 of Tomah passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at Rolling Hill Nursing Home, Sparta.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Tomah. Pastor Mark Benning will officiate. Burial will be in LaGrange Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Weds at the church from 10:00 A.M until the time of the service. Pearl Ann (Kamrowski) Morton, 95, of Winona died on Friday, January 27, 2017, at Lake View Court Winona Manor, in Winona, MN.

Pearl had previously resided for twenty-five years at the Winona Winhaven Court Apartments.
Pearl Ann was born on October 22, 1921, in rural Arcadia, WI; the daughter of Stanley and Catherine (Rossa) Kamrowski.
She is survived by her two brothers: Albert (Myra) Kamrowski and Sylvester Kamrowski both of Arcadia. Ann is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded inn death by her parents, her husbands: Clyde Blum and Ernie Morton; six sisters and their husbands: Frances (Byron) Lee, Margaret (Bill) Swartling, Alice (Alvin) Gabrych, Betty (Dan) Kaczorowski, Barbara (Jim) Rohn, Celia (John) Prochowicz; brother: Joe A. Kamrowski; sisters-in-law: Lorraine Kamrowski, Mary Kamrowski, Vivian Kamrowski; two infant brothers; also, a nephew, a niece, and a great nephew.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Parish in Pine Creek, WI with Father Sebastian Kolodziejczyk officiating.

Janet Elizabeth Gamoke, 85, died Friday, January 27,2017, at Comforts of Home in Hudson, Wisconsin.

She was born on February 27, 1931, in Arcadia, WI to Joseph and Della (Haines) Gamoke, Sr. Upon completion of graduation at Arcadia High School, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin--Milwaukee with a teaching degree. She taught Kindergarten in the Milwaukee Public Schools for 44 years. Janet spent her entire teaching career at the same school, where she was admired and respected by her peers, students and their parents.
In 2009 she moved to Hudson to live near her sister, Joyce Maloney. Janet enjoyed being outside and would take daily walks around the neighborhood. She liked to spend time with her nieces and her friends at Comforts of Home.
Janet is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents ; and her brothers: Joseph, Robert, Richard, Dennis ;and two sisters :Barbara Koch and Joyce Maloney.

David Morris Hanson, 70, of Independence, WI, (formerly of Sparta, WI) died on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at his home.

David was born on July 12, 1946, in La Crosse, WI, to Raymond and Edna (Olson) Hanson. On September 25, 1971, David married Eileen Loging at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Onalaska, WI.
David worked at Sparta Manufacturing, farmed for many years, and worked at Ashley Furniture. He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Arcadia. In retirement, he enjoyed watching TV, drawing, and playing with his grandchildren.
David is survived by his wife: Eileen Hanson of Independence; children: William “Bill” (Amy) Hanson of Marshfield, Timothy “Tim” (Rita) Hanson of Neillsville, Elizabeth “Liz” (Jeremy) O’Brien of Black River Falls; brothers: Ray (Margie) Hanson Jr. of Sparta, Reynold (Lynette) Hanson of Tomahawk, Norman Hanson of Minneapolis; sisters: Bonnie (Don) Baldwin of Tomah, Marion (significant other, Roy) Schindler of NV; 14 grandchildren: Joe (Samantha) Northup, Jalen, Kade, Owen, Topanga, Zander, Sullivin, Hudson, Rory, Flynn Hanson, Patrick, Noah, Conner, Brianna O’Brien; one great granddaughter: Starlynn Northup; and one uncle: Richard “Dick” (Donna) Hanson of Sparta, WI.
