Jerome E. “Shakey” Estenson, age 73, of Whitehall, died on Friday, January 23, 2015 in the Gundersen Tri-County Hospital in Whitehall. Arrangements are pending with the Jack Funeral Home in Whitehall.
Cleo “Wodusik hiske jaiiga” (she who wears earrings that are highly honored) Mountain, age 75, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015, at the Meriter Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.   Funeral services will be held Monday, January 26, 2015, 12:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah, WI. Richard Mann and Stuart Lonetree will officiate. Burial will follow in the Blue Wing Cemetery, Tomah, Wisconsin. A meal will follow at the Blue Wing Community Center. Family and friends are invited for visitation Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah is assisting the family with arrangements. Lilah D. Klink 76, of Sparta and formerly Arcadia passed away quietly in her sleep, on Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center in Sparta. Lilah was born on December 1, 1938, in Ettrick Township to Arthur Jule and Gertrude (Ruff) Hanson. On              July 11, 1959, she was united in marriage to Roland “Rex” Klink at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church by Father John Trant. While living in Arcadia she was a C.N.A. and E.M.S. with St. Joseph Hospital. While working in Winona she was employed by the W-Smith Architectural & Engineering Services until her retirement in 1991. After retirement she worked at Winona Heating & Ventilating part time until retiring to the home farm in 2003. Lilah loved her flower gardens, reading mystery novels and especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Family Parish in Arcadia.        She is survived by one son: Douglas; granddaughters: Nicole and Amanda (Jesus Cruz Barragen); one grandson: Christopher; and 2 great grandchildren: Karina Marie and Oswaldo Cruz Klink; brothers: Ardell and Gaylord Hanson, and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Lilah in death are her parents; husband, Roland; two sons: Daniel Wayne and David Arthur; granddaughter: Christina Lynn Klink; one sister: Verna Gilbertson; one brother: Donald; sisters-in-law: Murlee Hanson, Thelma Hanson, Carmen Andre Hanson, Eunice Blaha; and nephew Ardell Hanson Jr.      Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2015, at 4:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home with Rev. Sebastian Kolodzieczyk officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 2:00 PM until the time of services. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, rural Arcadia.      Lilah will be sadly missed by her loving family and her many cats. Beverly Ann Peterson, 69, of Cashton, WI, passed away Wednesday,  January 21, 2015, at the Bland Bekkedal Center for Hospice in Viroqua, WI; with  the love of her husband and family surrounding her.  The pain in our hearts is  diminished with the knowledge that it will be temporary; while the peace she has  attained will be forever. Funeral Services will be held Monday,  January 26, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church rural Cashton. Pastor Amanda Schultz will  officiate. Burial will follow in  the Moen Cemetery. Family and friends are invited  for visitation Sunday, January 25, 2015, 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a prayer  service at 5:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home, Cashton. Burton L. Olson, 67, of Humbird, WI, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015, at Pine View Care Center, Black River Falls, WI. A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 1, 2015, 2:00 p.m., at Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton, WI. Reverend Terry Marg will be officiating. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Pole Grove Cemetery, Hixton. Family and friends are invited for visitation Saturday, January 31, 2015, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton. MaryAnn Fromm, age 81, of Hatfield, WI and formerly of Chicago, Il died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in the Black River Memorial Hospital. MaryAnn had resided in the Pine View Care Center in Black River Falls for the last month.              She was born in Chicago on August 1, 1933 to Steven W. and Ann (Borcovan) Slahor. She was raised in Chicago and attended school there.    On September 19, 1953, she married Bernhard Fromm.    MaryAnn was employed in the administration department of the Chicago Board of Education.    Following their retirement, the couple moved to the Hatfield Area of Jackson County. Bernhard preceded his wife in death on May 9, 2009.    MaryAnn enjoyed watching TV, going to the casino, doing puzzle books, and watching and feeding the birds.    Surviving are her children Kurt Fromm, Hatfield, and Cynthia Fromm, Grays Lake, Il.    In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Darlene Ann Vanard. Funeral services will be at 1 P.M. Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Buswell Funeral Home (715-284-2231) 106 So. 2nd St. Black River Falls. Services will be conducted by Pastor Meg Erickson and burial will be in the Hatfield Cemetery.
