Funeral Services will be held Friday, January 20, 2017, 11:00 A.M. at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 310 Elizabeth Street, Tomah. Pastor David Dahl will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery with military honors. Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Thursday from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah and on Friday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services. In lieu of flowers and monetary gifts, a memorial of your choice is preferred. Betty Stenulson, age 89, of Black River Falls, WI passed away Monday, January 16, 2017, at Atrium Post Acute Care in Black River Falls, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Friday, January 20, 2017 at Squaw Creek Lutheran Church with Pastor Denise Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Squaw Creek Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Steven M. Brandt, age 50, of Camp Douglas, passed away January 15, 2017 at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI.

James R. “Helge” Helgeson, 73, of Independence, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at Azura Memory Care, Eau Claire.
Jim was born July 10, 1943 in Whitehall, to Robert and Rita (Lyga) Helgeson. He married his high school sweetheart Pauline Roskos on February 5, 1966 at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence.
Jim graduated from Independence High School in 1961. He began his career as a bricklayer for the Orville Madsen Construction Company, Hudson, Wis. He finished his career working for Market and Johnson Construction Company for many years as a bricklayer foreman. He led the masonry work on numerous buildings throughout the Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota areas.
Jim had a deep appreciation for nature, spending countless hours volunteering his time growing and caring for trees at Pietrek Park, improving the local trout streams and serving on the Rod and Gun Club.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman where he treasured spending time with friends and family hunting, trapping and fishing.
Larry L. Waldera, age 76, of Taylor, died on Friday, January 13, 2017 in the Pine View Care Center in Black River Falls.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Jack Funeral Home in Blair.
