Behind an impressive 3-goal third period, the Tigers co-op came away with a 5-2 win over the Onalaska Hilltoppers Thursday.
The Tigers scored two goals in the first period to go up early 2-0. Olivia Waddell scored with 6:50 elapsed in the first period and Hana Jo Ledebuhr scored off an assist from Taylor Gular with 16:22 expired.
In a scoreless second period for the Tigers, Onalaska executed a goal early in the period with Chloe Strain scoring with the assist coming from Emma Tryggestad, making it a 2-1 score going into the final period.
With 6:30 expired in the third period, Ashley Overlien passed it to Jade Potter who connected with Baileigh Johnson for the goal, putting the Tigers up 3-1 in the game.
