The Mustang girls basketball team continued their dominating season through the Dairyland Conference with a 30-point win last Tuesday.
Mel-Min went down to Independence to face off against the Indees and came out on top 68-38.
On paper, the teams seemed almost evenly matched, but amount of shots the Mustangs were able to shoot and their accuracy proved to be too much.
Mel-Min managed to land 49 percent, going 27 of 55 from the field, compared to the Indees' 10 of 32 shots for 32 percent.
Katie Christopherson led the Mustangs charge in both points and accuracy, landing 67 percent of her shots for 19 points.
Erika Simmons and Emily Herzberg helped to support that attack providing 13 and 12 points of their own respectively.
