The Plan Commission met at City Hall in the City of Black River Falls on October 1, 2008 at 6:30 P.M. Commissioners Johnson, Helland, Tamminen, Evenson and Mayor Danielson were present. Commissioners Boisen and Moe were absent.
1. Steve Trujillo spoke on behalf of Nick and Sharon Trujillo to request a Conditional Use Permit for a pre-owned auto business at the southwest corner of Harrison and North Water Streets as published. They presented a layout of the lot with a proposed 20 x 25 office/shop building to be built in the future. The lot would also be paved once the business has become established. There would be an average of 20-30 cars on the lot at any one time.
2. It was moved by Commissioner Evenson, seconded by Commissioner Helland to issue a Conditional Use Permit to Nickolas and Sharon Trujillo as above. Motion carried.
3. It was moved by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Tamminen to recommend a quit claim deed be issued to Allen Larson for an approximate 30’ strip of land north of Pierce Street and east of the Middle School. The property is adjacent to his property and is on the east side of the fence between his property and the school. There are maps of the property at City Hall. Motion carried.
4. It was moved by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner Evenson to recommend the sale of approximately 2 acres of Industrial Park property to Tim and Sherri Torkelson contingent on an 8-10,000 square foot building being built within one year. Motion carried.
5. It was moved by Commissioner Evenson, seconded by Commissioner Helland to adjourn. Motion carried.
