A meeting of the Joint Review Board was held at City Hall on April 2, 2008 at 5:30 P.M. Mayor Hunter and Board members Jeff Amo, Don Mathews and Sally Lister were present.
1. Mayor Hunter represented the City of Black River Falls, Jeff Amo represented the Jackson County Board, Don Mathews represented the local School District and Sally Lister represented Western Technical College.
2. It was moved by Don Mathews, seconded by Sally Lister to select Mayor Hunter as Chairperson of the Joint Review Board. Motion carried.
3. It was moved by Sally Lister, seconded by Jeff Amo to appoint Eric Chrisinger as member at-large of the Joint Review Board. Motion carried.
4. Sean Lentz, the City’s financial consultant, reviewed the “Project Plan” for the proposed amendment to Tax Increment District #1 to add territory and the amendment to allow the sharing of increment with Tax Increment District #2 for the City of Black River Falls. He also explained the role of the Joint Review Board including the fact that they will make the final decision to approve/disapprove the proposed district after City Council action.
5. It was moved by Don Mathew, seconded by Jeff Amo to adjourn. Motion carried.
