Ad Hoc Committee Minutes of April 28, 2008 |

A meeting of the Mayor’s Ad Hoc Committee for the Proposed City Administrator Position was held at City Hall in the City of Black River Falls on April 28, 2008 at 6:00 P.M. In attendance were Jim Haldeman, Marilyn Reinart, Mark Radcliffe, Chris Fox, and Eric Chrisinger. Chairperson Randy Eddy presided.
1. The Committee discussed the final draft of the job description acknowledging the changes made at the previous meeting. They reviewed the City Attorney’s memo regarding the process to change from the current elected City Clerk and Treasurer position to an appointed Administrator.
2. It was moved by Reinart, seconded by Fox to recommend to the Council the job description as presented and that a referendum be held to determine if the voters would support the change. Motion carried.
3. The City Attorney will be asked to review the job description, proposed ordinance and determine the timing of the referendum.
4. It was moved by Haldeman, seconded by Eddy to adjourn. Motion carried.
