River Level Peaks

E-mail Print PDF

After over 7 inches of rain, reports are that the Black River has crested at 60.9 feet. That is just shy of the record  61.2 feet set in 1993. Late Thursday the area known as "The Grove" was evacuated with concerns the river might breech the levy. As of Friday morning it looks as though the river levels were falling.
