The Plan Commission met at City Hall in the City of Black River Falls on July 20, 2011 at 5:30 P.M. Commissioners Danielson, D. Johnson, Boisen, Tamminen, and G. Johnson were present. Commissioners Helland and Moe were absent.
- The Plan Commission reviewed the history of the abandonment of a portion of South Water Street in 1973 to allow for the construction of the River Grove apartments. It appears that it was not done properly. The resolution before the City Council on August 17, 2011 to properly abandon the street needs the recommendation of the Plan Commission.
- It was moved by Commissioner G. Johnson, seconded by Commissioner D. Johnson to recommend to the Council to abandon 215’ of South Water Street as shown on the attached map. Motion carried.
- It was moved by Commissioner D. Johnson, seconded by Commissioner G. Johnson to adjourn. Motion carried.
