After school on Monday, local skateboarders were surprised when pro skateboarder Mike Vallely stopped by to try out our park. He was passing through our area on a Zumiez Tour Across America. Earlier in the day he had a 4 hour autograph session at the Zumiez in the Mall of America and was on his way to Milwaukee. THE Oak Ridge Trail will remain closed until further notice.

FLOODED SECTIONS HAVE SLOWED THE REPAIRS. PLEASE USE EXTREME CAUTION AS THERE IS STILL STANDING WATER ON SOME OF THE TRAILS. THIS WEBSITE WILL BE UPDATED AS SOON AS TRAILS ARE REOPENED.

Supreme Court Ruling Begins Correcting Irresponsible Budget Vote

(Tomah, WI)… Today the Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled 5-2 that the legislature’s raid of the Injured Patients and Families Compensation Fund (IPFCF) was unconstitutional. State Senate candidate Ed Thompson pointed out that “the raid was supported by incumbent Senator Kathleen Vinehout when she voted for its inclusion in the budget.” The state must now pay back the $200 million plus interest.
